Working hours end too early, and overnight parking is too expensive; the pickup location in Melbourne was very slow, waited nearly an hour. But very cost-effective, and the car was in good condition.
During holidays, make sure to pick up your car early to avoid crowds and affecting your schedule! We went to the A'Beckett Street branch in Melbourne on New Year's Day. There were only two counters for processing paperwork, and we arrived during peak time around 10 AM. We queued for over an hour, and actually got the car around noon. However, the return time can be extended accordingly, so if you rent for 48 hours, you can use the full time.
Processing was fairly quick, taking 5-10 minutes per group. The insurance upsell was minimal; just say 'no' and they won't push further.
The car was in great condition, as described, and very clean inside. The gas tank wasn't full when we picked up the car, and we forgot to ask about it on the spot. We called customer service and they connected us to the branch to confirm, and we were told to return the car with the same amount of fuel.
Very efficient service. We quickly received an email with car condition info and photos after pick-up, and if returning during store hours, we received the confirmation email within an hour. Everything went smoothly.
The counter only has two staff members, so you need to queue up to handle the procedures. Arrive early as many people pick up their cars after 10 o'clock.
It was a breeze at the counter. It was also nice of them to hold on to the car since we were a couple of hours late in picking it up. They offered to move the booking time to the time of our pick up so that we can return it at the same time the next day which was really nice.
The condition of the car was good, fuel was full, booster seat was installed when we asked for their help.
Overall, really appreciate the great service and experience of renting the car.

Car was in very poor condition. Damage from the front bumper to the rear bumper. Windows were quite dirty in the car causing sight issues when the sun was out.
