The Hertz service in Avignon was extremely poor. A middle-aged Caucasian woman was very discriminatory towards Chinese customers, spoke in a very impatient and rude manner. Since we purchased full insurance, they gave us a car with scratched paint and refused to replace it when we asked. They kept pushing us to upgrade by paying extra, and the car provided was much smaller than the Renault model we originally booked. Overall, highly not recommended.
Extremely efficient, the car was ready and we got everything done in minutes. My friends who booked an expensive car through their French friends thought this was even better.
They gave me a Kia, which I don't like since I don't prefer Korean cars. Everything else was great. The staff's English was excellent, which felt very comforting in France.
The store is right next to the parking lot, making car pickup very convenient.
