You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Perth International Airport car hire.

Terminal 1 International Upon arriving at Terminal 1 International, exit the terminal building and turn right, heading towards T1 Domestic. At the end of T1 Domestic, make a left turn and continue walking towards the pedestrian crossing on Airport Drive. Cross the road and immediately turn right at the car park pay station. Follow the pedestrian walkway alongside Airport Drive for approximately 200m until you reach the row of car rental offices. The rental counter is the last office in the row. Terminal 1 Domestic Upon arriving at Terminal 1 Domestic, exit the terminal building and head towards the pedestrian crossing on Airport Drive, located approximately 50m ahead. Cross the road and turn right at the car park pay station. Follow the pedestrian walkway alongside Airport Drive for about 200m until you reach the row of car rental offices. The rental counter is the last office in the row. Terminal 2 Upon arriving at Terminal 2, exit the terminal building and head towards the pedestrian crossing directly in front of the terminal. Cross two sets of crossings and you will see a series of car rental offices on the opposite side. Take an immediate right turn and you will find the rental counter, which is the last office in the row, located approximately 50m from the pedestrian crossing. Terminal 3 or 4 Upon arriving at either terminal 3 or 4, please proceed to the car rental counter located inside terminal 4, adjacent to the Qantas baggage reclaim area. All International Qantas arrivals do not exit the terminal make your way to the rental counter located in the Qantas domestic arrivals to complete your paperwork and we will direct you to your car.

Dishonest business practice of Alamo by claiming extra fuel cost on return which they cannot verify and substantiate. The rental of a medium SUV (BMW X1) was downgraded to a compact economy hatchback (Audi A1) at the original booking charges. It was substituted without prior notice. The matter was not pursued at the time of pickup as I was running very late to attend a meeting @ 900am due to a 2.5 hours flight delay of arrival. I am reserving my right to dispute my credit card charges.

The woman at the check out counter was extremely nice and helpful. She provided valuable information and directions. The car did not have floor mats and the bottom carpet had a hole worn through. The return area at the Perth airport was very confusing and I saw several cars/drivers circling the airport. I also had to circle twice as the signage was poor.
