We received an upgrade which was good with 5 adults travelling in the car. No problems with collection and Emma was very good in going through everything at time of collection.
When returning the car, there was a scratch, but it wasn't severe. They charged £2000, not as a pre-authorization, but a direct deduction. Initially, I thought the scratch would be quick to fix, so I agreed. Unexpectedly, it's been two months since I returned, and there's been no response—just saying it's being processed. I'm wondering, couldn't they just touch up the paint a little and rent the car out again? Looks like the £2000 was a rip-off.
The staff member was nice and very helpful. An additional €25 insurance was required for driving in Ireland, which I personally thought was reasonable. Without it, there might be no support in case of an accident in Ireland. The car provided was very spacious, almost the size of an XC60.
