“Easy to book but a lottery on what you get”
About Budget: 7.3 /10
Did not get car that I reserved. I was given choice of 3 none of which was as spacious as Peugeot. Car was in shocking condition with 10 separate areas of damage so much so that the gentleman at the drop off site said that we did not need to check for damage as there was so much already. Girl at desk said that we did not need to bring car back with a full tank as it was cheaper if they refuelled it. Absolute lie.

“Once again a disappointing car rental experience”

We booked an automatic specifically but when we arrived late on Sunday night with 2 children we were told there were none available. Then they tried to get us to take a car with a totally damaged wing mirror and a light out,

This was straightforward but I would recommend paying upfront.

“Disappointing experience in the end”

The desk clerk explained me that they'll give me an upgrade for the same price + the fuel and in the end I ended up paying 250E for the upgrade. Disappointing experience, I'll steer clear of Budget in the future and I'll think twice before accepting any such "free" upgrades :-(

“Could have been worse”

Unfortunately waited for almost 2 hours for the car as the lady seemed to be operating all of the car rental desks on her own. Apart from that everything was fine.
