The process was very slow and the waiting time was long. We booked a Mazda 5, but they gave us an MG instead, which was extremely difficult to drive! I've never driven such a hard-to-handle car before. There was no response when pressing the accelerator the first time, and the second time it just shot forward. Luckily, the roads in Auckland are wide and easy to drive on. If we had to drive on mountain roads in Queenstown, it would be terrifying. Next time, I will insist on not changing the car.
Very good, but picking up the car took quite a long time. The staff realized that my luggage wouldn't fit in the reserved car, so they upgraded me to a bigger vehicle for free.
When picking up the car, the staff told me to return it with a full tank, and if not, they could refuel it for a price cheaper than outside. I returned it with a full tank, but they maliciously charged me for a full tank of fuel. I provided the fuel receipt and a photo of the fuel gauge, but they rejected it, claiming the timing didn’t match because I returned the car early. I was very careful to keep all the evidence, yet they still deducted the charges wrongly. Avoid renting from this company if possible.
