The store management was chaotic and it was extremely difficult to find the pick-up point. When returning the car, four people of Indian descent came out with magnifying glasses to inspect every inch of the car's paint. They found a small chip caused by a stone on the top right corner, which is two meters high, and demanded compensation. After renting cars over a dozen times, this was the first time encountering such a store. There is no way the damage could have been caused by me in that location.
The overall service at Hertz airport was great. The counter staff were patient and attentive, and there was no excessive upselling. Picking up and returning the car was smooth, though I had to wait in line for over ten minutes.
Overall satisfied, but the process of picking up the car was extremely slow. I have rented cars in Australia and other places before, but this was the slowest. The entire process took me half an hour. Picking up the car was also slow, the staff member walked out leisurely to find the car, and after a 20-minute wait, he handed me the keys and took me to the car.
Due to travel delays, I went to the reserved pickup location only to be told there were no cars available and was redirected to another branch, which wasted my time. When returning the car, the drop-off location was unexpectedly closed, forcing me to go to another branch to return the car, causing significant delays.
