Very satisfied. Staff member Hou was very responsible and informed me about driving precautions in Langkawi, helping me get familiar with driving a right-hand drive car in advance. All my questions were promptly answered, giving me great peace of mind. The entire trip in Langkawi went smoothly. Definitely deserving of a five-star rating and the highest praise.
The staff's attitude was good, and it was very convenient to pick up the car right at the airport entrance. I specifically paid extra to reserve a 2024 model, but the car provided was very old and worn out. The engine sounded like thunder, and the trunk door vibrated.
The service attitude was excellent! We were added on WeChat in advance, and before arriving in Langkawi, someone contacted us regarding car pickup arrangements, such as the handover location. When we landed in Langkawi, the rental company staff were already waiting outside the terminal. After inspecting the car, a cash deposit of a few hundred ringgit was required, so it's best to carry 200–300 Malaysian ringgit in cash just in case.
Service was standard. They should remind customers to take photos of the entire car as a record. The car was relatively old. Thankfully, we took photos of all the scratches before, otherwise the staff asked us for proof photos when returning the car because of a scratch.
The staff contacted us two days in advance. As soon as we walked out of the airport, we saw the staff, and we were ready to start our trip within 5 minutes.
I want to file a complaint against this car rental company. Please be cautious and avoid them.
1. I selected a 2023 model, but the car I received was extremely old, seemingly 10+ years old. Many interior and exterior features were broken, and the front windshield had a long scratch, which caused significant glare during nighttime driving, posing serious safety risks. That evening, I tried contacting the rental company to exchange the car, but they intentionally ignored my messages on WeChat. At one point, the vehicle couldn’t be locked electronically, and I had to use the manual key to lock it. The entire experience was nerve-wracking, fearing the car might break down.
2. On the return day, the front-left bumper slightly scraped the curb, leaving a mark. When returning the car, I was charged 150 RMB as compensation, and the company stated they could only accept cash and couldn't provide a receipt on the spot. They promised to send it to me by the afternoon, but since I was rushing to catch a flight, I didn’t argue. I had purchased additional insurance and needed the receipt for reimbursement. However, they delayed for three days and still didn’t provide it.
The service was excellent, and the owner gave us plenty of local travel tips! The car was also very new and equipped with a mount. You can't go wrong choosing this company.
Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, the vehicle was in great condition, and the staff were the most accommodating. They were patient, enthusiastic, and helped resolve various issues. Highly recommend this car rental company.
Renting a car in an unfamiliar country can be daunting, but the staff at this company completely eased our concerns and addressed all our unfamiliarities. Very thoughtful service!
