“Easy peasy!”

Like: Upon arrival I walked into the Hertz section of the car rentals and I got helped immediatly. Friendly agent. Very helpful person at the car itself. Gave me the tip to photograph all dents and scratches and also advised me to put my luggage + my handbag in the boot to avoid any trouble at the robots.
Dislike: The boot of the car had been smashed by a previous user. The lock of the 5th door didn't function properly. Fortunately my journey was short and I didn't have to stop at many robots because the door had opened and all my luggage + my handbag were exposed and for grabs. This car shouldn't have been rented out without fixing it.

The store couldn't find my reservation, which wasted an hour of my time and seriously affected my travel plans and mood. The vehicle model was completely different from what I booked—it was a lower-tier model with a different price. They responded claiming it was the same tier, which is absolutely nonsense.

I booked a RAV4, but every time I got a Corolla Cross instead. The reason given was always that the two cars belong to the same category. Why is the RAV4 never available? Rental location: Cape Town Airport.
