Due to my tight schedule, the rental company charged me for fuel at three times the market price. I advise everyone to return the car with a full tank.
Before departure, I was told I couldn't use a UnionPay Visa card, which prevented me from booking in advance. After arriving in Los Angeles to inquire at the rental office, they said it was acceptable! They forced me to choose a mid-size car, but the upgraded car triggered a warning. Picked up the car the night before and had to exchange it early the next morning. They charged an additional service fee for the exchange, which was very frustrating! They also managed to mess up my identification number!
Good, but had to wait to pick up the car because it hadn't been cleaned yet.
