The customer service was unreachable and unreliable. The staff, who appeared to be of Indian origin, made us wait for 2 hours at the airport. They charged a 50 AED cleaning fee for some sand on the floor mats, provided the car with only half a tank of fuel, and the tire pressure warning light was on.
The staff had a bad attitude, lacked patience, were inflexible, and didn't consider the customer's needs. The car was dirty with a lot of cigarette ash.
Had to wait for a long time, and they didn't pick us up at the airport as agreed. It took an extra hour and a half to get the car, leaving us completely exhausted. A 3000 deposit was held, and I'm not sure if it will be deducted.
I booked a Camry but was given an MG; they are not even in the same category. The tire pressure warning light was constantly on. Could not reach anyone when returning the car.
When traveling, make sure to do your homework before renting a car as local car rental companies can be quite tricky—stay alert. The rental company delivered the car quickly, perhaps to avoid customers coming in and inspecting the cars too closely for issues. Once the car breaks down, you're on your own. The staff will tell you different things: sometimes they promise to resolve it before noon, other times they say it will be handled today, or maybe tomorrow, and sometimes they even ask you to take care of it yourself by going to their shop. As long as the car works fine, everything is okay. But if problems arise, good luck. The first photo shows the car delivered on the first day. The second photo is the car's battery when it broke down after about five days. The third photo shows the replacement car of the same model, and the fourth photo displays a van they brought us as a temporary replacement. It had no features whatsoever. There was another issue: they promised to replace the faulty car with another, but what they sent was a van where even the door had to be unlocked using a key—completely inconvenient for us to operate. We ended up spending another whole day driving to the rental office to swap it for a car of the same model. Honestly, I was speechless. These rental companies have at least three to five of the same model cars sitting in their parking lot, yet they sent us an even worse car instead. I've never been able to figure out the logic of these foreign rental companies over all these years.
This company is terrible, and this is not a malicious comment—just an honest assessment. That said, I acknowledge it’s partly because I went for the cheapest option, so I accept the problems as mine, but let me explain what happened. ① The efficiency is extremely low. It took two hours to pick up the car, and my family was exhausted. They only started preparing the paperwork after we arrived, and it seemed like the documents weren’t even processed on-site—they were faxed in from somewhere else. One family waited at the airport for 40 minutes for their shuttle, which was even worse. ② The car model didn’t match what I booked, and the price difference wasn’t refunded despite contacting the platform. I rented a Kia MPV but was given a compact SUV, which even had engine issues. ③ For all practical purposes, it’s like forced one-way rental. When I booked, I opted to return the car at Dubai Mall, but when I picked up the car, they claimed this was my own selection mistake. However, there was no such address, and they gave me an alternative location in the city, which turned out to be more like the suburbs—not much better than returning it to the airport.
